It's been 62 years since WWII ended, and I believe 88 or 89 years since WWI ended. I would like to take a moment to thank all those soldiers who gave the ultimate sacrifice of their lives to allow us to live freely. As for war mongers like George Bush and Stephen Harper, shame on you. No country should have to live in fear of being attacked., especially after the hard lessons of Wars past. So take the time today to celebrate the memories of those brave soldiers and remember what they went through decades before today.

Would that include, perhaps, our country?

How would we be "free from fear of attack" were we not engaged in productive military action around the globe?
