This was clearly a crime of passion and miscommunication. Alice August became smitten with Trixie Velvet. Alice was lesbian and Trixie was straight. Upon learning that Trixie did not see the relationship the same way, Alice decided to kill Trixie in the most gruesome way possible. Alice tried to put the blame on Colin, who the player found out has an obsession with woman of a certain career, i e stripper or prostitute. Jones is really obsessed with Tony Marconi and will do anything to lay a murder charge on him to the point where his integrity should be questioned.
